Cat was developed by crossing the typical bloodlines of Bengal cat and Ocicat. This is a new breed and is therefore very rare. Because one of its ancestors, the Bengal cat, is a hybrid, the cheetah has also been classified as a hybrid. The only cat record that recognizes it is the International Cat Association (TICA).
