British Longhair is a mid-size, semi-long hair breed of domestic cat, originating in Great Britain. In addition to its coat length, British Longher is similar to British shorthair. The coat is shiny and the body is generally hard. The head is wide, and round or square with glazed spherical eyes and small ears. The legs are a few small but are strong. Tails are plush and thick. The chest is deep, giving the overall impression of a compact, medium-sized cat. Stomach hair can be curly British longhairs can come in a variety of colors and patterns just like the British Shorthair. These colors include black, white, red, cream, blue, chocolate, lilac, cinnamon, or fon. With all these colors, patterns, self, tabi, turtle, bikolor, smoke, can be tipped and may include color-pointed (in some registries).
According to breeders, British longhairs are quite calm and easy. British longhairs make good indoor cats, because they are less active than many breeds, and content with a sedentary, comfortable life.
